Casting Director Roxane Dia, born in France of Afro Caribbean descent, is based between Berlin and New York.

Roxane’s adolescent years were spent surrounded by the skate, graffiti and hip hop culture in Germany. From there, she began casting friends from her community and connecting with unique characters on the street.

Roxane’s practice focuses on models, celebrity talent and street casting. Her sources of beauty defy expectation, transcending the confines of race, age, religion, culture, and socio-economic status. With an artist-forward approach, Roxane has developed strong relationships with her Photographer collaborators, who look to Roxane’s unique perspective to bring a modern and dynamic casting to each brief.
