British photographer and director Mel Bles fuses fashion and feeling in dynamic work shaped by movement, gesture, and a fascination with the nuances of the human form. Often incorporating elements of collage and photomontage, her multi-layered compositions reflect her fluency in the legacies of graphic design and printmaking. Bles’s playful visual language, and her confidence in unexpected and experimental juxtapositions, lends her fashion imagery a sense of humour and visual flair.
