Senior Agent (London)

This position is for an engaging individual with strong management skills and extensive industry knowledge. The ideal candidate is someone who maintains a calm, energetic and effective manner who actively seeks new business opportunities.

Applicants must have at least 5 years industry experience including team management, be personable and approachable, strong industry contacts in both fashion, commercial and international markets, keen interest in fashion and the arts.

The role will consist of, but not be limited to: Working closely with company Directors to maintain exceptional career management for all artists, drive new business growth, staff management, knowledge of standard rates, usages and production, artist development and strategy.

Applicants must have at least five years experience with proven industry contacts, be highly energetic and organized—with the ability to multitask, manage internal and external teams and an ability to work well under pressure—as well as have a strong interest in photography. 

The role will consist of, but not be limited to: seeking new business opportunities and client relationships; developing the advertising division, with new artist signings and directing and developing the careers of the existing roster; oversee the maintenance of the artists’ creative assets; negotiating project budgets direct with client; and managing and overseeing project productions and financials.

Originally from Budapest, Marton attended Bàlint György Press Academy (with a major in photojournalism) and Budapest University of Theater and Film Studies, where he graduated with a master‘s degree in cinematography in 2011.

Marton was shortlisted for the 2015 Paul Huff Award; was one of Foam’s 2015 New Talent’s and had work included in the 2015 Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in London. In 2016, Marton published his book Elemer in conjunction with Loose Joints and debuted his solo exhibition of Bird, Bald, Book, Bubble, Potato at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest.
