This position requires a proactive, professional and talented individual with senior level experience in management. Artist relations and development are central to this role, applicants must have proven and positive industry relations with artists and client alike. This individual must hold exceptional knowledge of photography, a thorough understanding of the industry and will be expected to create new business strategies to initiate business growth from the outset. The ideal candidate is someone who maintains a calm, effective and energetic manner with the ability to maximise profit and company growth.
Webber is a busy, evolving creative agency looking to expand and develop further with the right candidate.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Working closely with company Directors to maintain exceptional career management for all artists.
- Generating new business through new and established contacts.
- Managing artist and client relations respectfully and positively day-to-day.
- Ability to strategise and execute artist career management.
- Seeking new and established talent that mirror the high standard of our roster.
- Creating engaging and exciting marketing strategies.
- Budget management.
- Overseeing and approving European marketing strategy and targets inc PDF’s, Treatments etc.
- Staff management with the focus on development and performance.
- At least 5-10 years industry experience.
- Experienced and confident at creating new leads, negotiation and closing deals.
- Proven track record on how to market artist’s delivering global reputation and revenue growth.
- Positive team management (minimum 3-5 years experience).
- Strong industry global contacts.
- Knowledge and understanding of shoot production.
- Familiarity of standard rates and usages.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Keen interest photography, media and the arts.
- Personable and approachable with natural ability to develop strong relations with artists and clients.
- Able to prioritise effectively.
- Extremely organised and detail oriented.
- Enthusiastic and upbeat.
Qualifications/Skills:

Agency Intern (NYC)
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible

The successful applicant should have a passionate interest in photography/art. They should be highly organized, able to multi-task, and eager to learn the inner workings of a creative agency. The intern will work closely with both the office manager and the agents and should be prepared to assist with a variety of tasks: both creative and administration based.
Interns can expect to obtain skills in digital archive management, marketing research, and office administration. Interns will be provided with a small stipend and should be available 2–3 days per week for at least 3 months.
Candidates should supply a resume including relevant work experience, education, and skill sets. Candidates may include a cover letter detailing their interest in Webber Represents specifically, and what they hope to learn from working at Webber Represents.
Responsibilities:
- Update and manage the archive server and CMS
- Research new markets, update and research client contacts
- General office administration assistance
- Update and manage agent iPads
- Assist in the creation of PDFs and treatments
- Assist with the maintenance and production of artist portfolio books
IT Skills (Essential):
- Proficient in Mac operating systems
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Bridge
