Ilya Lipkin is a photographer and visual artist born in Riga, based between New York and Berlin. His images exist at the intersection of art and consumer culture, informed by psychology and pop culture, and shaped by a curiosity about how images are consumed and understood. Moving between fashion and art, studio and street, he blends the conventions of editorial and fine art photography, working fluidly across genres.

His practice is driven by an interest in how images construct meaning and circulate within contemporary culture. A graduate of the Whitney Independent Study Program, his work has been exhibited at Lars Friedrich (Berlin), Svetlana (New York), Arles, and Webber Gallery. Clients include AnOther, Aritzia, Fantastic Man, Armani, GOAT, Interview, Nike, Supreme, The Face, T Magazine, The Gentlewoman, Uniqlo, and Versace.
