German artist Hella Keck is a set designer and art director who builds immersive environments, imbuing her sets with a timeless sensibility and playful sense of anarchy. Having trained in fine-art sculpture, Keck brings a strong spatial sensibility and sense of the architectural to her fashion sets, runway presentations, and commercial shoots. Working primarily in London and Paris, her sets bring a rich ambience and narrative drive to the shoot without overburdening the images.
Split Glass, her 2022 art installation at Webber Gallery, transformed the gallery space into a fragmented set replete with bird cages, tree branches, and mirrors, evoking an interior landscape hewn from the surrealist visual language of dream. She works regularly with clients including AnOther, Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Chanel, Double, The Gentlewoman, JW Anderson, Loewe, Miu Miu, and Self Service.
