Daphnée Lanternier is a Multidisciplinary Visual Artist, working in show, installation, event and live stage design.
Over the past 10 years, Lanternier has developed ephemeral installations for some of the most prestigious companies in the fashion, design, art and music industries today. Her work transcends the instances they first live in, and manifest into memorable events that speak to her strong creativity and vision for innovation.
Lanternier applies her unique perspective as a Creative to projects both big or small, some involving complex and elaborate staging, others requiring a refined and bespoke approach for private events.
With a clear talent for working across a variety of disciplines, Lanternier brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration, calling upon her years working with Conceptual Designer Jurgen Bey and Architect Rianne Makkink at their Studio Makkink & Bey in Rotterdam, where she began her career. It was during this residency that Lanternier worked on workshops in design practice for educational institutions such as the Eindhoven Design Academy in the Netherlands, the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and on a Public Art Commission installation for the FNAC (Fonds national d'art contemporain). Shortly thereafter followed a move to Paris, where she had the opportunity to work with many luxury clients such as Alexander Wang, Kenzo, Nike at Bureau Betak, Saint Laurent, Y3 and Moncler while working at Villa Eugenie.
Currently based in London, Lanternier works internationally as an independent artist.
